BIO
I have spent my entire adult life around firearms, I am NRA Instructor certified with the Pistol and Rifle with focus on Defensive pistol usage and AR-15 handling as well as received my NRA Range Safety Officer certification. Additionally I have completed Instructor Level courses with Marksmanship Matters taught by Larry Mudgett, Larry has been training with firearms as a martial art since the age of 17. "The father of modern weapon craft," Jeff Cooper, was Larry's friend and mentor for 36 years. Larry had the privilege of training with or competing with all five of the original “Combat Pistol Masters” as designated by Jeff Cooper. Before his passing Jeff Cooper listed 12 men who had in his estimation distinguished themselves, earning the Title of Combat Masters and holding advanced degrees in Combat Shooting with Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun. Larry was one of those listed and the list can be found in Wikipedia. Larry has been my mentor for the past 3 years and is clearly one of the best trainers in the business. I personally have completed over 130 hours of training with Larry including advanced pistol and rifle manipulation becoming proficient in self defense. I have completed and passed at Instructors Level the LAPD Rifle Qualification course. I regularly teach with Larry at Marksmanship Matters in their Defensive Pistol Course.

Private Instruction
INTRODUCTION TO FIREARMS
My services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. My New Shooter Pistol Course includes 2 to 3 hours of private instruction away from the range to allow the student to focus on firearms safety, proper firearm fundamentals and firearm manipulation without the distraction of the shooting range. My Defensive Pistol course is more focused towards a student wanting to carry a concealed firearm and my advanced course introduces shooting on the move with speed. SKILL DEVELOPMENT
The second session includes personal instruction time at the range applying the skills learned in the first session. Here you will learn the key elements of Marksmanship and develop the tendencies needed to defend yourself. At the range we will reinforce safety as a priority and teach you what is needed to continue the ongoing learning steps needed to master your firearm.
